Stephan's First Reading Lessons

It's never too early to start teaching the ABC's! Stephan is a great page turner (3.5 months).

Stephan Picnics at Dumbarton Oaks

After mommy's long overdue jog, we enjoyed a picnic under a big oak tree at Dumbarton Oak (Georgetown, June 15). Later that night, we attended Patricia's and Nik's wedding celebration - Stephan cleans up nicely in his first pinstripes.

Stephan celebrates Father's Day by taking his first swing ride (June 16, 2013, Cleveland Park playground).

Stephan's Baptism May 11, 2013

Stephan is welcomed into the Catholic faith through baptism on May 11, 2013. His Uncle Raymond and Aunt Mary serve as his Godparents and lifelong spiritual advisors. Friends and family gathered at St. Matthew's Cathedral for the celebration.

Stephan Bonds with Nature

Stephan's first encounter with nature - the National Zoo and Rock Creek trail (late April/May/June).

Stephan's First Month

Stephan stretches his legs, gives gentle hugs, and reverts to familiar positions he took in the womb. Skin and bones now...watch him grow in the coming weeks. I think you will agree, we have another runner in the family - look at those legs!
